Royal Blue Metallic with Magnolia Leather, covered just 30k miles from new. A truly exceptional example with superb service history and provenance, which will be very hard to repeat. This car comes with all its original factory supplied books intact in the original leather folder, an extensive history file running back over 22 years including the original service book containing 20 entries, most main dealer followed by Bentley specialist. A chain of expired MOT certificates are present, running back 23 years. Many expired tax discs are also present. The original sales brochure, specified for the Mulsanne S model remains intact in the cars history file. This car ticked all the boxes for me, being low mileage and the perfect colour combination, with excellent history. However the TPA acrylic paint of this era did not stand the test of time well, and often crazed on the upper surfaces. The decision was taken to carry out a proper strip and repaint using the current water based basecoat and 2 pack lacquer system. All glass was removed, doors, bonnet, boot, grille, bumpers and all brightwork. The car was stripped back, etch primed and repainted in the original Royal Blue metallic. Coachlines were re applied carefully by hand to the specification carried out originally at the factory in 1990. Door cappings were removed and sent for re polishing, and the engine bay was fully detailed. A thorough mechanical recommissioning and service was carried out by Mulsanne Motors, Dalkeith, Edinburgh. Four new factory specification Avon Turbosteel tyres were also fitted. All summed up, this will be one of the nicest examples available of the desirable and rare Mulsanne S model.
