Real deal 1968, King of the Road Shelby GT500KR 4 speed toploader in the fantastic, factory original Highland green metallic paint with black interior.
This car is super original and has all its original components and drivetrain still in place. It comes complete with Marti report and it's in the Shelby registry.
PTTM is specialized in High quality Mopar and Shelby cars, and this beauty is one rare find even for us !, its highly collectible and a great investment grade car that can also be really driven and enjoyed.
The car is in very original and solid survivor type condition when we found it and has its factory original Cobra Jet 428 big block engine and original drivetrain still in place and the 4 speed is also Vin stamped as the should be. PTTM will upgrade the car were needed and also do some detailing on the complete original underside. So when we're done with it it will be a Concours lever car that's also completely serviced, inspected and ready to be enjoyed.

In this color and with its factory original options its one of the best Shelby's you can own and enjoy for sure. The KR car's were the first Shelby's to receive the all-new 68'Cobra jet engines that were estimated on the streets as one of the fastest cars around. The engines were highly underrated by Shelby with around 360hp but in fact, had close to 400+HP easily. The Cobra jet engines were also stronger in design and could take way more abuse than the later and earlier Big block cars.
