Introduced in 1967, the MGC made the logical progression of swapping out the 4-pot B-series engine for a 6-pot C-series. The naming convention followed, and car still looked broadly the same, but it took a lot of revising. The main way to tell these roadsters apart from their predecessor is the bonnet bulge (to hold the radiator) and a smaller one for the carb. Apart from that, it's the same pure retro MG magic. Why fix what isn't broken?
This fabulous example has only recently completed its restoration, and what a stunning result. Fully retrimmed, rebuilt and refurbished, it's a fabulous example of a highly desirable best-of-British roadster, with the engine still under warranty until November 2025.
It's not often we see such a fine example of the MGC, especially so thoroughly refurbished. Only 76 miles have been covered since the job was done, and everything's sparkling - ready and raring to go!image.png3.76 MB
