Often credited with revolutionising the open-top British Sports Car, the MGA's streamlined shape was a genuine revelation for its era, and has gone down as one of the most successful of the period's roadsters. To this day, it's utterly timeless - and is responsible in no small part for MG becoming one of the most legendary marques in motoring history.

This 1957 MGA stands out due to its comprehensive restoration to concours standard by renowned marque expert Bob West. The car's history is well-documented, with a detailed file of invoices and photographs all accompanying it - along with three winner's shields! Factor in that reconditioned fast road engine and you've got a spectacular example of one of the world's most enduring classic cars.

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence. 

✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own  full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
