This lovely MG TD has had a charmed and interesting life it would seem having originally been supplied to America it has subsequently spent time in both France and England with the same family. It was subject to a restoration in America to such a high standard that it went on to win best of class several times during this period. Testimony to the quality of this workmanship is the condition we find ...

First and foremost, please do not confuse this original EA Sports ‘Ulster’ with the many replicas that are out there. This is No. 42 of just 180 original examples built at the works in Longbridge during 1930 to 1932. It is thought that about 50 or so were supercharged the rest being unblown.

DM7155, the example offered here, is one of the original unblown cars. It is also, due to ...

In early 1923, just after the Austin Seven was launched. Capt. Arthur Waite persuaded Lord Austin that it would be a very good idea to compete with a racing version of the standard car.

A couple of months later OK7095, a lightweight fabric bodied Austin seven, with a standard engine, won a race in Monza and shortly afterwards, the Easter handicap meeting at Brooklands, with Waite at the ...

Not only is this stunning Austin-Healey 100 BN1 a genuinely rare beast, being an early, original UK right hand drive example, but it also has one of the most comprehensive history files we have seen for some time. With known history from new, it has enjoyed fastidious ownership since its restoration back in the late 80’s including being for the past seventeen years the property of Jamie Knight, ...

This has to be a unique opportunity to acquire a genuine, factory Triumph GT6 chassis that has never been used. In fact, it has spent the last 50 years stored in the rafters of a dry garage having been bought new from Leyland main dealers, Mann Egertonn in the mid 1970’s. Please make no mistake, this is not a restored chassis but an original new old stock item that has never been fitted to a car. ...

There is something about this lovely Jaguar Mark II where it just looks right sitting purposefully on its painted wire wheels. Perhaps it has something to do with it being professionally restored nearly 30 years ago back in the 1990’s. The fact this Jaguar still looks amazing and drives beautifully is great testimony to the overall quality of this work. 3779 WK (a Coventry works number plate) has ...

Having a Lotus Elite type 14 for sale here at Origins is rather special for us as Cameron, one of our directors, literally grew up with them as his late father raced them extensively in the 60’s and 70’s. In fact, one of our large images that adorns our walls is of Cameron as a baby “working” on a go kart with a Lotus Elite in the background in 1972.

So, it gives us great pleasure ...

The Vintage Alvis 12/ 50 is one of those cars, along with Frazer-Nash, 3 litre Bentley and Vauxhall 30/ 98 has become synonymous with the Vintage Sports Car Club. Founded in 1934 the original members of the VSCC wished to promote the continued use of cars which, although already a decade or so old, they considered better products in almost every way than their successors. Notable early owners included ...

It is fair to say that at any one time there will always be a number of Rover P6 V8’s on the open market for you to choose from. First introduced in 1914 the Dodge Four became popular with thousands of customers looking for a car that was slightly more refined than Ford's utilitarian Model T.
