The sporty and sophisticated first series Fulvia 1. 3S Rallye coupe is fitted with a twin-carb, twin-cam engine, oil cooler, servo-assisted discs and lightweight opening panels. It was one of the last models to predate the brutal cost-cutting of the 1970s. This low mileage LHD example, in blanco Saratoga and blue fabric, was sourced in Italy a few years back.

Now UK-registered and sympathetically ...

A Bourne-bodied car – and one of the first to go to Australia – 0202’s first owner was Bill Gates, radio presenter, pop group manager and handy weekend racer, who competed in it with considerable success, before doing something similar in a 26R. The car was later restored after a period off the road, and, more recently, came to the UK. A pair of hefty files covers its race history – including ...

This rare RHD T5-bodied 356B Super, with period registration and in Aetna blue with black, was delivered to AFN in late-1960. At some point – possibly very early in its life – it was uprated with the running gear of a Super-90 of a similar vintage, including a 616/ 7 engine, matching gearbox, camber bar and a correctly calibrated rev counter. In all but name, it became, and remains, a Super-90.

Introduced ten years ago, BMW’s R NineT is a retro-styled roadster powered by the familiar air-cooled boxer twin in 1200cc form. This very low-mileage Pure variant in mineral grey was registered to its first and only keeper in mid-2021. It has subsequently been serviced on schedule at the supplying dealer and remains under warranty.

The bike was nicely optioned from new with an adaptive ...

The Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans is a stylish cafe racer introduced in the mid-1970s with a large-capacity V-twin engine, shaft drive and other modish features such as an electric start, alloy wheels and front and rear linked braking. There were three iterations, of which the earliest, the Mark 1, with its distinctive bullet fairing and circular headlight, is the most favoured today.

This UK-supplied ...

A high-performance variant of the base car with improvements to engine, suspension and braking, the 911S was introduced for the 1967 model year. In light ivory with a black leather interior, we believe chassis #308325 was the last of some 45 first-year examples in RHD. Initially, and briefly, the car went to Bermuda before spending many years in New Zealand and, more recently, coming to the UK.

A purposeful early 911 fresh from an extensive and well-executed build in the style of the TR – the factory’s first competition special. The bodywork is de-trimmed and fitted with a centre-fill fuel tank and lightly flared rear arches. There are 6 and 7R Fuchs front and rear and a sufficiency of Cibie lights. The lightweight interior features a pair of Scheel buckets, a smaller steering wheel, ...

This rare T6-bodied Super 90 coupe was supplied by AFN in spring 1963. At the time, the model was top of the pushrod-engined range and featured a novel squared-off boot lid at the front and a larger rear window and twin-grille engine cover to the rear. It’s likely, we believe, that fewer than twenty-five such cars came to the UK and inevitable that a smaller number are still around today.

A classic roadster with a big engine in a small body, the Plus 8 owed its name to its use of the then-new Rover V8. The rest of the car was more traditional with a separate chassis and steel body over an ash frame, a Moss gearbox and a limited slip diff. It might have looked dated to some, but Bill Boddy correctly described it as a true sports car, and a very quick one at that.

This early ...

A lively and good-looking classic British twin from the 1960s.

An early, matching numbers and mostly original green bodywork Commando 750. The bike retains nice details such as the green dot gauges and circular Norton badges. First registered in Sweden, it came back to the UK a few years ago and is now UK registered with a correctly-dated plate. On arrival, it was thoroughly gone though ...

The S90 was a stylish mid-1960s small capacity sports bike with a lightweight frame. Honda’s tiny all-alloy engine was fitted with an overhead cam for this purpose. This UK-supplied example retains its original buff log book and registration number. The engine number matches the one recorded in the log book. More recently, the bike has been well restored and benefits from regular maintenance by ...

An early example repainted in light blue, chassis #0683 was delivered to Switzerland in March 1965. It was imported and road registered in the UK some years later, having been subject to a comprehensive renovation and preparation to FIA comp spec. We have recently undertaken further updating and detailing and renewed the UK-issued HTP papers.

The correct-type capacity-checked and sealed ...

The gradual evolution of the air-cooled 911 allows later cars to be backdated to an earlier look. This mid-1980s Carrera 3. 2 has been given a convincing makeover in the style of the iconic 1973 RS. It absolutely looks the part in white with a long bonnet and front spoiler, a rear ducktail and one-piece bumper, chrome detailing all round and black decals. Inside are houndstooth-checked sports seats, ...

The 356B represented the mid-point of the model’s evolution and, as with all variants, is rare in right hand drive. This full matching numbers T5-bodied car, with a period UK registration and in its original slate grey with red leatherette interior, was supplied by AFN in 1961. The substantial history file confirms a low number of owners and regular maintenance by the right people with an engine ...

Introduced in the mid-1950s, the Giulietta range saw high-level design and engineering values applied to a compact car. The four-door Berlina, Bertone-designed Sprint coupe and Pininfarina-designed open Spider were pretty cars and have remained very popular. The more powerful Veloce variants – sometimes appearing in lightweight and/ or special-bodied spec - were widely-campaigned and successful ...
