This classic pre-War Fiat small saloon was registered new in Dundee on 20 December 1937. The original continuation logbook shows that the colour has been maroon from new. The car changed hands in the 1950s and was taxed on the logbook up until 1964. It then resurfaced in the 1990s needing restoration but, crucially from a historical perspective, having always been a UK rhd car, not an import.

Neat little Rover 10 with excellent green coachwork, original carpets and leather seats. Engine runs well and the brakes are satisfactory. Only about 70 post-war Rover 10's were produced and this survivor was latterly in Cheshire and Yorkshire. Good Chassis and engine believed overhauled. Would benefit from ongoing minor TLC to electrics and steering.

Possible part-exchange.

This is a charming example of the now relatively rare Austin 10 Clifton tourer with two front seats and a dicky seat. Although the Austin 10 range was very popular in the 1930s right through to the 1940s, the Clifton was only made in low numbers and now it is believed that fewer than fifty remain.

In the pre-War Austin range – “Britain’s Dependable Car” as the ...

SORRY SOLD
The early Morris Minors with their split windscreen and low level headlights are charm itself but are undoubtedly lacking an engine powerful enough to cope with modern day conditions. The 918cc engine was even regarded as inadequate at the time the car was launched. That deficiency was sorted later in the Minor’s production but, by then, the lights had moved to higher up on the ...

Tidy and very basic early 1930’s tourer. Chassis No. 140686. Running well and surprisingly nippy. Rebuilt with tourer body by enthusiast in 2006 as most of the original body had rotted away. Original engine (141450) present but currently fitted with a reconditioned engine from a 1929 AD tourer and an electric starter. Paintwork could be (but should not be) improved, mechanics excellent.
