When Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations department (SVO) took the popular XE saloon, lavished it with carbon fibre and gave it 592 bhp, the result was quite simply astounding. Known as the ‘Project 8’, (or ‘P8’ for short), this ultra-high-performance big cat was limited to just three hundred examples. If you’re lucky enough to own one, here’s the perfect registration to make your Jag even more special.
Better still, if you’ve got a Project 8 on the driveway and your name is Jonathan Benjamin Potter - or any other name with the initials ‘JBP’ for that matter - ‘P8 JBP’ is quite literally the perfect registration.
If we forget the Jaguar connection for a moment, you could specialise in ‘joint business planning’ or be a particular fan of the Boeing P-8 Poseidon anti-submarine warfare aircraft. The possibilities are endless…
Offered with its retention certificate, ‘P8 JBP’ can be assigned to any vehicle registered in or after August 1996.
