The original Norton Commando was released back in 1967 and was produced for 10 years gaining popularity worldwide. Fast forward to 2010 with new owners and management, Norton released their updated rendition of the Commando. Boasting a soulful 961cc parallel twin engine, the newer Commando still had the all-important character that Norton’s are known for.
Of course, more modern equipment was fitted as standard such as electronic ignition, upside down front forks and disc brakes front and rear. The more desirable Sport or 'S' model offered suspension from none other than Öhlins and brakes from Brembo, arguably the best in their respective fields.
Styling cues from the original Commando can be seen especially with the fuel tank and engine, making this a truly modern bike while paying homage to its predecessor.
