The Appeal
Hitting the market in 2005 as their new premium range-topper, the Flying Spur was effectively the full four-door variant of the Continental GT. It beautifully captured the company's 21st-century ethos of everything, everywhere, all at once. For your money, you got the utmost luxury, an enormous list of options and performance that could get you moving at over 200mph - the first four-door Bentley to ever achieve the double-ton.
Of all of the Flying Spurs, though, there's one that stands head-and-shoulders above the entirety of Bentley's catalogue - the W12S comes with more attitude; extra power and torque are complemented by more responsive handling, while dark-tinted design details hint at the performance intent of the Flying Spur W12S.
Boasting a simply enormous 12-cylinder masterpiece under the bonnet, the car's already remarkable capacity is boosted to an exhilarating, high-octane 626hp. To complement all of that grunt under the bonnet, it also featured a more responsive chassis set up, with damper and stability control specially developed to make it a remarkably driver-friendly ride.
No bones about it - this was a car that stirred the soul, got your hair standing on end, and kept you in a high-society comfort while doing so - though the price was so high, even for one of Crewe's finest, that it's become one of the rarest 21st-century Bentleys ever.
This handsome example is exactly that, finished in a unique and rather sumptuous Peacock Blue. This beautiful, full-sized luxury motor is in very good condition and has been regularly serviced by Bentley dealers - with the last service undertaken in November 2024.
Having covered only 39,081 miles from new, it's a beautifully specified car that's got everything going for it. If you're seeking truly premium levels of luxury, you won't find much better than the Flying Spur - and you certainly won't find many opportunities to rival this one.

All Previous Full Bentley Service History
Fitted with the relatively scarce W12 powerplant, the Flying Spur is a work of art under the bonnet as well as outside of it. This is a true thoroughbred, capable of over 600hp and a top speed of over 200mph - and a rare, desirable specification compared to the lower-priced V8 engine option that was introduced for the second generation.
Serviced throughout by Bentley main dealers, this car has been maintained well and, we're told, is running every bit as well as you'd expect. We've no reports of any mechanical issues and we understand it to be ready and waiting to hit the road with its lucky new owner.

If an auction vehicle doesn't sell, it may be converted into a “Make an offer” listing. This will retain all of the details of the auction listing but replace the bidding functionality with an offering system whereby potential buyers can make an offer on the vehicle. To take the hassle out of the whole process and to prevent any unnecessary squabbling we'll automatically decline anything less than 70% of the asking price so only offers that are worth considering will be accepted. Make an offer listings include a “Make an offer” button. Simply click on this and enter the amount you’d like to offer and the seller will either accept, decline or counter. Easy peasy. If you don’t have a Car & Classic account with a registered bank card you’ll be prompted to set one up at this point.
If your offer is accepted, you’ll be charged a service fee. The amount depends on the cost of the vehicle and is an additional cost on top of the offer amount. Starting from as little as £/€300, it covers the cost of our various auction and escrow services, but rest assured, we're not in the woollen eyewear business and so the exact amount is always displayed upfront before you place your bid. You will only be charged if your offer is accepted.
The service fee is a charge in addition to any accepted offer amount that varies depending on the cost of the vehicle. Starting from as little as £/€300, the exact fee is clearly displayed upfront before any offer is placed so you always know exactly how much you'll be charged. It covers the cost of our various auction and escrow services and allows us to continue to provide a secure and professional platform from which to transact safely.
If you've ever squeezed a lemon then this'll be a doddle. Firstly you'll need to be logged in to your Car & Classic account and have added a valid payment card to your profile. Once these steps have been completed you can then make an offer by clicking on the "Make an offer" button on the listing page and entering your offer amount before clicking on the “Submit Offer” button underneath.
