THE APPEAL

With just one previous keeper, the E63 V8 Bi-turbo has covered just 80,301 miles and is backed up with a full service history. Well specced inside and out with thighs like Active Parking, Active Braking, Automatic Climate Control, Dynamic LED Headlamps, Heated Seats, Keyless Start, and the list goes on. But it's the AMG package which makes this E63 something else, Active Suspension AMG exhaust and the incredible 5.5 litre Twin-turbo engine which pushes out an impressive 550hp and 531lb-ft of torque. What is there not to love about this car?

Inside, the E63 AMG doesn’t disappoint; you get the sports AMG seats covered in the finest Black Nappa leather. These are in excellent condition for the age of the vehicle, with just a minimal amount of wear to be seen, less than you would expect for the mileage. There is a multifunction AMG steering wheel which does have a small amount of age-related wear to the leather. The rear seat is in excellent condition and doesn’t appear to have been used a significant amount.
The dashboard, also finished in black leather, is in good condition with no scuffs, the instruments are bright and clear with no warning lights reported when the engine is running, and the odometer displays a reading of 80,301 miles, which, as mentioned, will go up a small amount as the car is in use. The switchgear looks in good order with no apparent signs of wear to the buttons, and the vendor reports everything to be working correctly. However, there is some light wear to the leather on the gear selector.
There is a set of AMG mats fitted, which protect the main carpet, both of which are in excellent condition, and the same can be said for the boot area.

Subtly more stylish than a standard E-Class, the E63 benefits from the AMG styling pack consisting of a lower front spoiler, side skirts, rear apron, plus 19” AMG wheels.
Starting at the front of the car, for the age and mileage of the Mercedes, there are very few stone chips to the front end. The Dynamic LED headlights are in good order with no chips to the lenses, and the lower fog lights are also free from damage. Fitted with Active Park Assist, the E63 makes parking an easy task.
Around to the sides of the performance saloon, there are no dings or dents to point out, and the door gaps are all equally matched. The windows are free from any excessive scratches, and the trims are in good condition. As you wait at the traffic lights and glance down to see the wing-mounted V8 Bi-turbo badges, these are a clear indication that this is no ordinary E-Class.
At the rear, the light lenses are in good order with no cracks, and the boot aligns as it should. The wheels are in good order, fitted in gloss black, there are no signs of any kerb damage, and the tyres have a good amount of tread remaining.
THE MECHANICS

As with any performance car, service history is critical. The E63 AMG comes with a full-service history; the last one was carried out on 30th March 2022. In addition, a health check was performed on the 26th September 2022, which picked up low rear brake pads. These have now been replaced, and the E63 AMG is ready to go.
The car is reportedly running as it should be, with no issues to mention. The gear change is silky smooth as the car pulls strongly through the seven-speed automatic gearbox.
The massive AMG calipers bring the car to a halt in a straight line and with no juddering reported by the vendor to come through the pedal. On the road, the AMG Active Suspension changes the dynamic driving experience as it senses the road ahead and adjusts the damping to suit.
SUMMARY
A performance saloon to easily rival or beat other cars in its class. With outstanding performance, handling and styling inside and out, the E63 AMG is a force to be reckoned with.
