Ford and Roush Performance have a longstanding partnership that has elevated Ford vehicles to new heights for over 40 years. When Roush modified the fifth-generation Mustang (2005-2014), they created one of the best modern muscle cars. Their enhancements, including engine upgrades, suspension tweaks, and unique styling, transformed the Mustang into a powerful and iconic vehicle. This collaboration showcases how Roush’s expertise can turn a great car into an extraordinary one, making the fifth-generation Mustang a standout in automotive history.
This stunning 2007 example is a factory-built Roush Stage 1. It was exported to the UK, where it received a Stage 3 upgrade with a smaller pulley, pushing the power to around 460bhp. The car has been upgraded to handle the extra power with a performance clutch and an Eaton Truetrac rear differential setup to help get the power down.
The condition is stunning, and the car comes from an enthusiast owner who has pampered ‘Roxy’ for the past three years. It is an absolute head-turner, which you will certainly hear coming – and what a sound it is too!

If you are looking for a car with road presence, look no further! In standard form, the Mustang is a great-looking car, but adding the factory Roush body kit takes it to the next level in the looks department.
The Mustang’s paintwork is superb, finished in Torch Red. It has been treated with Part PPF (Paint Protection Film), which Waxworx Luxury Automotive Care applied, along with a full ceramic coating to the body and wheels.
Starting at the front, the Roush bumper is free from any noticeable chips or scuffs. The headlights, fog lights, and indicators are free from damage, and the grille is fitted with a single Roush badge. The body kit continues onto the bonnet with the air intake, although this is for aesthetic purposes. A Roush window decal finishes off the look from the front end, and the windscreen is in good order with no noticeable scratches.
Looking down the flanks, there are no dings or dents, and the doors align with equal gaps. The body kit fits well with no distortion or warping to any of the side skirts. Like the front, the side windows are free from noticeable scratches, and the seals appear in good order.
The boot badge at the rear states the Roush Stage 1 conversion. The light lenses are free from splits or cracks, and the boot spoiler fits well. A set of 20” Vossen wheels has been fitted, which are in excellent condition. The tyres are a set of Dunlop SP Sports Maxx, which have covered approximately 3,000 miles.
Inside, you are faced with red and black leather, topped off with Jack Roush’s embroidered autograph on the front seats. There is a minor amount of age-related creasing, but nothing excessive.
The dashboard is in good order and finished with carbon trim that extends to the centre console. The factory head unit is in place, and all the switchgear and air conditioning are working correctly. The Roush instruments show a reading of 60,972 miles, and no warning lights are displayed.
The carpets are in excellent condition. A set of Roush mats has some light wear but would be easy to replace. The headlining is in excellent condition with no damage. Inside the boot is also clean and tidy. The boot has been soundproofed, and the spare wheel is present.
The Mechanics
4.6-litre Supercharged V8
Estimated 460bhp
Stage 3 supercharger and smaller pulley
GT500KR mufflers
Performance clutch
Eaton Truetrac rear diff setup by Modurstang
The 4.6-litre V8 fires up without hesitation and sounds fantastic, thanks to the GT500KR mufflers. The distinct sound of the Stage 3 supercharger can be heard, which obviously gets much louder on the road, and this is where you can appreciate the huge performance of this American muscle car.
Fitted with a five-speed manual gearbox, the gear selection is precise. A performance clutch is also fitted, which is slightly heavier than a standard car but necessary with the extra bhp.
As a factory Roush car, the suspension sits slightly lower, giving it a more aggressive stance while improving handling. The brakes bring the car to a stop in a straight line, and no issues have been reported.
