The Appeal
BMW went sixteen years without an M6 in its range, but it was back with a vengeance in 2005 with a 500 horsepower V10 under the bonnet. In E64 convertible form, it's one of the quickest open-topped GTs ever made and it didn't compromise on luxury whatsoever.
This 2007 example stands out from the crowd with its handsome Interlagos Blue exterior and Silverstone/white upholstery. It's bristling with high-end tech including an inbuilt TV and heads-up display, while the interior is an exceedingly comfortable place to be with swathes of supple leather, climate control and heated seats.
For long-distance grand touring, it's hard to beat and M6, and this example is eminently worthy of your consideration. There are just 77,294 miles on the clock, the car is entirely unmodified and there are not MOT advisories to report. Most of the service history can be viewed via the onboard computer, and the vendor also supplies a folder of accompanying invoices.
