The Appeal
Launching a rival to Porsche’s all-conquering 911 was a bold move. But Aston’s V8 Vantage was a fitting riposte, mixing tactile handling and viscerally quick acceleration. It is a characterful, hand-built alternative to its more anodyne rival.
These are highly rated cars, particularly when equipped with the manual box, which enables drivers to fully exploit the 380bhp V8. Finished in smart Midnight Blue - an appealing alternative to the more common Bond-infused colour schemes - this car has that desirable shifter and a high factory specification.
It has been well maintained too, with a run of 18 stamps - mostly by main dealers - running to March 2024 this year. The car has been sparingly used since.
In good condition with just a few minor cosmetic points for bidders to note, this is a great example of the highly regarded ‘baby Aston.’ An advisory-free MOT to April 2025 underlines the provenance.
