Highlights
- An increasingly desirable modern classic
- ‘Phase 3’ example with the JTS engine and enlarged radiator grille
- Just 119,235 kilometres indicated
The Appeal
Harking back to the Giugiaro-penned Alfetta GTV of the 1970s and ‘80s, the Alfa Romeo 916 GTV had a hint of classic about it from the moment it was launched.
This post-facelift (Phase 3) example is equipped with the then-new JTS 16-valve engine which sends 163 horsepower to the front wheels. Styled by Pininfarina, it was one of, if not the prettiest car on sale at the time and remains a handsome machine to this day. The vendor acknowledges that this example shows its age in places and would benefit from some work, but it's a very deserving example, with just 119,235 kilometres on the odometer.
