The Appeal

The launch of the DB7 in 1993 signalled a new era for Aston Martin. By the late 1980s, the once-great firm was once more in financial trouble and it was to be the Ford Motor Company that would stump up the cash to secure Aston’s future. It desperately needed a new car, one that would be simpler to produce than the exceedingly expensive hand-built Virage. So, with a welcome injection of Detroit dollars and the collaboration of TWR and Jaguar, the excellent DB7 was born.
This 2003 example is rather special - a V12-engined Vantage and one of just ten “Keswick Special” DB7s offered at the time by Lancaster Group. It’s in lovely condition, has just 44,545 miles on the clock and benefits from full Aston Martin service history. The current (advisory-free) MOT runs until March 2025, the last service was carried out only 650 miles ago so the DB7 is ready to enjoy.
