The Appeal
Designed to take the fight to Mercedes, the third-generation Lexus LS arrived in 2001, boasting a longer wheelbase, a more powerful V8, and new technology features that upped the game in the limousine segment. By this point the LS had cemented itself as Lexus’s flagship thanks to its majestic lines and a reputation for exemplary comfort and refinement. As a result, this model has earned ‘modern classic' status.
'If you know, you know’ in terms of sophistication and luxury, this 2001 example presents in top order with an impressive Lexus main dealer service history and includes two timing belt changes along the way. With naughties Luxo-barges continuing to grow in popularity, this presents a great opportunity to get into a silky-smooth waft-mobile in quite outstanding condition.

The newly registered keeper owns an IS300 already and has found that at 16.5ft long, his new limousine is a full 2ft longer than his current Lexus and will not fit properly into his garage. With this being one of the most cosseted surviving examples, it is hoped that someone with ample garaging will preserve this fabulous machine.
