The Appeal
The Ford Mondeo may well go down as one of Ford's ultimate successes. These family cars were near-perfectly balanced saloons, with the sports variant - such as this particularly fine ST200 - becoming rightfully acclaimed as one of the finest fast-Fords ever built. None so desirable, however, as the rare Factory-White ST200s - a special order item of which only forty of the hatchbacks were ever built.
This particular ST200 is an excellent example. Originally used by Law Enforcement in Surrey, Sussex, and Somerset, up until around 2009, this car has since been comprehensively restored and has been dry stored since, with a replacement engine and a new drive shaft serving to create a car worthy of its recently restored paintwork.
