Luxury brand collaboration is all the rage these days but was less common back in 1997 when Aston Martin got together with legendary British clothing and accessory manufacturer Dunhill which produced some of the earliest forms of motoring attire during the Edwardian period.
The Alfred Dunhill Edition DB7 featured a unique metallic platinum paint known as Dunhill Silver, while the interior was a Charcoal Connolly hide piped in Silver Grey. The usual veneers were swapped out for brushed aluminium panels while various Dunhill products were scattered around the interior. The wheel centres were modelled on the Dunhill Millennium Watch - another nice detail.
While 150 were envisioned, the arrival of the V12 Vantage curtailed production and in all it's believed that just 78 Dunhill DB7s were built. This Volante has had only two former registered keepers and covered 15,000 miles in the last 10 years. Recently recommissioned for the road after a period in storage, it is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. The car presents very well for its age and with an MOT valid until April 2025, it's ready to enjoy.
