The Appeal

Through 14 generations the F-Series has stuck firmly at the top of America’s sales charts. Looking at this ninth generation F-150 you can see why. It’s 28 years old, has been used as intended, but remains solid, presentable and entirely usable. An independent assessment confirms the point - it has MOT to March 2025.
Ford loves evocative colour descriptions and this ‘96 F-150 is finished in Electric Current Red with Raven Black. Under the bonnet there is Ford’s revered Windsor V8, in this case the 5litre pumping out 195bhp. With just 103,000 miles on the clock it should be good for many more.
This truck has been put to work so there are some signs of its life through the years. But perhaps that adds to its appeal. With its huge load deck it would work well as a private workhorse or a distinctive commercial truck. Whichever you choose, these trucks are rare in the UK and this one looks very honest.
