Well maintained and efficient mechanics
A well-tuned C4 Corvette, with a very attractive bodywork, a well-preserved interior and efficient mechanicals, equipped with the powerful and desirable LT1 engine
The Appeal
The C4 Corvette, the fourth generation of the iconic Chevrolet sports car produced from 1984 to 1996, represented an important step forward for the evolution of the model, modernizing its design and mechanics, and making it once again competitive with the European sports cars of the time.
Characterized by a modern and aerodynamic design, cleaner and more understated than the previous C3, the C4 replaced the classic separate chassis of the previous versions, dating back to the early sixties, with a uniframe construction, in which the essential elements of the car's structure are integrated into a single welded group of great strength.
With new independent suspension, a pleasant removable targa roof, a comfortable and modern interior and an innovative instrument panel with digital LCD display, the C4 achieved immediate success.
Over the years, the C4 received many cosmetic and mechanical updates, but the most important innovation was the arrival in 1992 of the 5.7-liter V8 LT1 300 hp engine, modern, light and reliable, which over the years has become one of the most celebrated and loved American engines, adopted by countless custom and special cars.
This attractive 1993 Chevrolet Corvette features the powerful LT1 engine combined with the rugged and reliable 700R4 automatic transmission.
It features an original bodywork in good condition, with the characteristic pop-up headlights and nice alloy wheels, customized with red racing stripes and details.
The interior is very impressive, with well-preserved red leather upholstery and the peculiar digital dashboard and is complemented by red carpeting in good condition and intact plastics with no visible flaws. This Corvette is equipped with automatic climate control and its original radio.
Lifting the bonnet, which includes the entire front section of the bodywork, the engine compartment appears pleasantly clean and tidy, highlighting the flegendary V8 engine and the sophisticated suspension.
The seller informs us that the mechanics have recently been serviced and are efficient and reliable and recommends replacing the tyres before undertaking long journeys.
