The Appeal

Jaguar took a while to perfect and then launch the original XJ and we can be glad of that. It was so good that it remained in production for decades. Such was the smooth appeal of the V12 cars that they lived on longer, several years after the introduction of the XJ40.
Looking at this very tidy, low mileage Daimler Double Six you can see why. Finished in classic gunmentall grey metallic, it arrived from salt-free Japan in 2020 to join the seller’s private collection. He has subsequently invested heavily in the car via Jaguar specialist Altamira, which you can investigate via the history file photographs.
The Double Six was one of the firm’s finest cars and this has to be one of the best to reach the market in recent years. One for the discerning collector.
