If you're looking for a characterful classic that can be enjoyed all year round, this Land Rover would certainly fit the bill. It's a late Ninety, sold shortly before the introduction of the Defender name. You'll note that its appearance is quite unique, having been refinished in the eye-catching Miami Blue with a contrasting white roof, wheels, and chassis.
The Land Rover looks to be in good condition for its age, with straight, smart bodywork, a solid-looking chassis and a well-preserved interior. It's had a wealth of new and uprated parts fitted, including Bilstein dampers, a lift kit, winch, uprated front bumper, BSB auto parts lights, CB radio and much more. Mechanically, we find it has recently received a new Borg & Beck three-piece clutch kit, new master/slave cylinder, new brake pipes, new pop shaft joints, a new alternator belt and a replacement head gasket.
You'll need to collect the Landy on a trailer, since it's currently stuck in first gear - but the vendor informs us that it's otherwise in very good working order and has proved a good driver throughout their ownership.
The vendor says:
"I am reluctantly looking to sell my beloved Land Rover Ninety due to moving to France to pursue my career in super-yachting.
Like any Land Rover, she’s not a speed machine. Steering and braking are both good but expect to remain in the slow lane on motorways. But to make up for what she lacks in speed, you gain in Land Rover waves and looks of approval on your travels.
Her eye catching colour and tractor tyres gain her looks of approval everywhere you go. She has a real personality."
