The 1989 Ferrari Mondial 3.4 T is an important model in the history of Ferrari, presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1989. This model was the first to feature the new longitudinally mounted engine and innovative transverse gearbox designed for the Ferrari 348, which would be launched six months later.

This particular example is notable for its rarity, with only 43 known examples in the United States, making it a highly sought-after model among collectors. It has been well preserved with its original 'Black 901C' pastel paint and has not suffered any accidents. Sold new by the official Ferrari dealership in Turin, it has always remained in northern Italy and has had only four previous owners.
