Eligible for Historic Vehicle status from 1st April
The Appeal
There is something compelling about a V8-engined R107. Alongside the bomb-proof engineering of the M116 unit, these cars are utterly effortless, every escapade accompanied by a burbling soundtrack.
The R107 is so usable that it is a surprise to still find cars like this one with exceptionally low mileage. It has covered little more than 58,000 miles in its near-40 years. Finished in factory Champagne metallic with Palomino leather and dark brown roof - there is also a matching hard top - this is a very pretty car in great original condition. It has had just three keepers.
It presents very well and has been maintained to a similar standard, a run of service stamps - mostly by main dealers - attesting to the keepers’ enthusiasm for this lovely car.
It comes to market with a long MOt to July 2025. That could be its last, if the buyer wishes - this car is eligible for Historic Vehicle status from 1st April 2025 because it was built in October 1984. It can then be MOT, tax and ULEZ exempt, a further tick in the ‘appeal’ box.
