The Attractions
Launched after the end of the Second World War, the Citroën 2CV, like other French cars of its time, was intended to offer a vehicle suited to the needs of the rural population, taking them to drive a car for the first time. However, probably nobody expected it to stay on the market for so long at the time. In 1980, the car was still on sale, and a special version, the 'Charleston', was introduced.
Inspired by the golden age of Citroën, this edition featured a two-tone colour scheme with art-deco references, emphasising the car's retro style. It was a huge success, and although the model was initially only to be sold for one year, it was soon decided to continue production.
Registered in Italy, this beautiful 'tin snail' is in excellent condition. The original paintwork will receive a professional polish before delivery to its next lucky owner and a lot of mechanical work has recently been carried out. If you are looking for one of Europe's best-loved and longest-lived classics, this 2CV is definitely an opportunity not to be missed.
