The Appeal
In the 1980s, the Spider 105/115 had already been in production for over a decade. Although it was still very successful, it was a product of the 1960s and was therefore beginning to feel the weight of its years. For this reason, Alfa Romeo introduced a substantial styling update, launching the 'Aerodinamica' 3 Series in 1983.
As well as looking decidedly more modern, with its pronounced rear spoiler, the 3 Series also met new safety standards with its plastic front and rear bumpers. For those who want a practical and versatile classic roadster that combines classic charm with more contemporary features, the Aerodinamica is an excellent choice.
We are delighted to offer this fascinating example with a 2.0-litre engine from 1985 - one of the last produced before the Spider's interior was thoroughly redesigned in 1986. It looks extremely original in every way, down to the smallest detail, and is in excellent overall condition. It has undergone extensive restoration and maintenance work in recent years, preserving and restoring as many original components as possible. We have been informed that it runs perfectly and drives beautifully, offering exciting performance and that there are no problems to report.
