The Appeal

The Alfa Romeo GTV6 is often touted as one of the best in Alfa Romeo's repertoire. Whether it be on the track, on the road or on the screen, these cars are Alfa Romeo magic at its best, with exceptional styling, pure retro character and an impressive focus on pleasing just about anybody who got behind the wheel.

Of particular note, however, is the rare South African variant, manufactured in Rosslyn, Gauteng. With only 212 units ever produced for homologation, this remarkable car is amongst the most prized Alfa Romeo products out there. Even more exclusive - and well worth a note - is the anthracite grey livery, something only around a dozen examples carried.

This specific vehicle has been meticulously restored by Basie Theron, a well-known figure in Alfa Romeo circles, ensuring it presents well. The engine overhaul by Dawie De Villiers, the developer of the 3.0L engine, adds further credibility and desirability. This car is not just a rare find but a piece of motoring history, ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
