Regularly maintained and used for the last 10 years
The Appeal
Rescued from Brize Norton Air Base some 10 years ago this ex RAF Communications vehicle has very low mileage and still retains most of the radio and communication equipment, including antennas, that it was originally fitted out with back in 1984.
This past 10 years the Series 3 Defender has been used regularly, albeit sparingly, having had a good mechanical overhaul, and runs very nicely with all its transmission options working well.
Military enthusiasts and Land Rover fans will love the NATO Green nicely worn paintwork and its unique history and provenance all add to the iconic Defenders desirability and collectability.
