The Appeal

Dropping the 1.8litre fuel injected engine into the Mk1 Golf made it even better. Torquier and with more power, this later version is perfect for either long distance trips or B road blasts.

Good examples are getting very rare, particularly in largely original condition. This one is both those things, a car that has been used and enjoyed and arrives with us in solid and presentable condition. It even has the original checked cloth GTI engine.
