The Appeal

In 1979, Moto Guzzi were working to introduce their new Spada NT to the British market. The country's only importers, Coburn & Hughes, found themselves with a small overstock of the Spada 11; and decided to dress up the final 100 in a gorgeous livery of pinstriped red and silver, with an upgraded saddle and colour-matched panniers. The result was exceptional - an instant showstopper, and perhaps the rarest ever Guzzi product.

This example has been meticulously restored, with a comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration completed in February 2024. The restoration has returned this motorcycle to its original splendour, with many original parts retained and restored. The engine, gearbox and bevel drive have been completely overhauled, and we're informed that this classic mount sounds as good as new. The custom-made king-and-queen seat, replicating the original design, ensures that it keeps up that inimitable factory-born silhouette.
