The Appeal
The car that put Europe on the road. The 2CV is one of the most important cars in French history, and most certainly one of the most iconic. Built of lightweight materials, utilitarian to the extreme and boasting an ingenious long-travel suspension that offered impressive comfort on post-war French roads, these cars made Citroën into a true force to be reckoned with - and a uniquely innovative one.
This fine example, affectionately known as 'Belle', offers a fine example of the iconic car. Offering a vibrant colour scheme that was provided upon restoration in 2012, she's a truly charming little car. Her badging is inaccurate - she's carrying a 435cc engine rather than the engine the 2CV6 would suggest - but she's an utterly fabulous example that we're sure will charm the lucky buyer.
