The Appeal
From the day it was first introduced as the 1750 in 1968, the Alfa Romeo Berlina was an executive car with the best of them - loaded with distinctly continental leather and woodwork, the boxy Italian classic boasts extra-thin pillars and a throaty exhaust note that belied an engine loaded with zest. It was equally at home on the streets of Milan as it was on the track - as you'd likely expect with Alfa Romeo.
This beautiful maintained example has previously lived in Malaysia since production in Arese Italy. Since arriving into the UK in 2019, it has undergone major mechanical refurbishment. That combined with its fine looking coach work, it is constantly turning heads and always accepting compliments whenever it is out and about.

Paintwork in good order - the vendor believes the car has undergone a respray pre-ownership
Couple of blemishes on the front edge of the bonnet due to the previous ill-fitting bonnet, now rectified
Scratch on the tail end edge of the boot lid, though this isn't intrusive
For all the blemishes that have been mentioned, the remaining of the exterior body is remakably free from any scratches, dents or scrapes
Centre scudetto chrome grill and front headlights newly replaced
Front bumper recently stripped and refurbished
Exterior front door rubbers recently replaced
Car is sitting on period-correct wheelset with Kumho tyres
Internally, the car's period character is exceptional
Seats are free of rips or tears and look very plush
At some point in its life the steering wheel, centre console and dash were treated to a walnut effect finish
These are all in excellent order, and offer a very distinguished character
Wood-trimmed steering wheel creates an impressive vocal point
Door cards are clean and nicely kept
Underneath, the car is structurally sound, with some signs of age on the rear valance and side sills
