The Appeal

If you crave independence, a camper's the way to go - but the Volkswagen Camper is something rathermore special. These vans built their reputation upon the spirit of independence. These inexpensive, undeniably cute little vans found themselves in all manner of employment, but their most iconic purpose was as a home away from home - taken on in droves by the blossoming youth culture movement and becoming iconic for their sheer escapism.

Nowadays, they've maintained that same personality. A good camper is aspirational, and often prized by its keepers within an inch of its life. There's a grand scope for modification too, so one that does maintain its original, austere furnishings is often a particularly prized - and scarce - offering.

This fine example comes to us with plenty of that 70s persona proudly on display, with its original Westfalia interior proudly preserved. Subject to a bare metal restoration in 2022, every inch of this camper still really looks the part, and we understand it's ready and waiting to be driven away on its next adventure.
