The most
Quite possibly one of the most interesting and eccentric cars ever to wear the Porsche badge, the 914 was built and marketed in collaboration with Volkswagen - a collaboration that matched the market needs of both companies. Volkswagen needed a new Ghia to dominate its range, while Porsche needed a new entry-level car. It was an idyllic marriage, and the resulting car was fascinating.
With its mid-engine and short wheelbase, the 914 was agile and fast. Its styling was totally unique from its contemporaries. The two air-cooling specialists had blended the best of Stuttgart and Wolfsburg in style, and the car was a resounding success, quickly outstripping Porsche's sales figures.
This fabulous example in Saturn Yellow arrives in excellent condition. Undergoing a restoration some four years ago, including a complete engine rebuild, it is still maintained to the original mechanical standard, with the D-Jectronic injection system and a very authentic cabin that is a real time capsule. What's more, its MOT runs until November 2029!
