The Appeal
Few classics are as easy to own and therefore as rewarding as a classic MG BGT. Stylish Pininfarina-informed styling, practical and spacious cabin and reliable running gear explain why these cars are so enduringly popular.
This one is a North American-specification 1972 car that was imported to Poland some years ago. In 2021 it received a comprehensive bodywork, paintwork and mechanical restoration and is now finished in classic British Racing Green. The work included a brake overhaul and various suspension components were renewed.
More recently, 500kms ago in 2024, the car visited renowned specialist Classic Parts Staniszewski of Jablonna for servicing work. Whilst there the carburettors were tuned up, overdrive system repaired, trim items remedied and the electrics inspected.
The car comes to market with a fresh technical inspection and its Polish registration documents. This is a very tidy example of the popular BGT and benefits from extensive recent work.
