The Appeal
The MGB is a titan. There's no word more fitting yet so ironic for the diminutive little sports car; it's one of the most enduring, globally recognisable classics...ever. With its excellent support network, plentiful spare parts and appealing, perky yet easy-to-manage performance, it's little wonder these roadsters have become one of those classics you simply have to own at least once.
This particular 1972 car was restored the '90s, and is still in fine order. Thirty years later, it's only covered around 22,000 miles since, and its practically synonymous red livery is still nice and bright. The car also carries an electronic ignition and a substantial paperwork file.

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.

Car & Classic's secure payment system protects buyers and sellers. At the end of the auction, the winning bidder transfers payment into a third-party escrow account.
