The Appeal

There’s something very refreshing about these unassuming three-box Italian saloons from the early Seventies. Every angle in their understated lines seems right, and their mechanicals have a tactile directness. Interestingly, it’s front wheel-drive too. There’s a very simple charm to having a classic that can take you and three friends out for the day, park anywhere and not use much fuel – and look good doing it.

Interestingly, this car can be shipped backed to Europe with no import/export tax incurred or can be registered quickly in the UK; a Nova certificate has been issued.

Summary

One question every potential buyer of a Sixties/Seventies Italian car asks is; is it rust free. And for once, we can answer with a wholehearted yes. This is a very solid car that has been well cared for by its successive owners – and remember, there were only two of them – both of whom have kept the car garaged.

Also, when the car was repainted, any rusted panels – the front floor pans – were cut out and replaced. It has undergone a recent mechanical check-over, including a 250-mile shakedown drive, and has been given a fresh MoT with no advisories.
