Now UK road-registered as an historic vehicle: exempt from road tax and MOT
Handsome BBS alloy wheels fitted
The Appeal
The 1960s and ‘70s were the golden era of the sports coupé. Italy led the charge, namely Alfa Romeo with its 105 Series and Lancia with the Fulvia. Britain followed suit with the Triumph Dolomite Sprint and France with the Peugeot 504. Germany’s entrée came courtesy of BMW, and in true Teutonic fashion, the 2002 tii was perhaps the most well-executed and exquisitely engineered of the bunch.
With beautiful, understated styling and a fuel-injected 128 horsepower inline-four driving the rear wheels, the tii was a fantastic package. It drove beautifully and excelled in motorsport, contributing to a successful run of road cars. We’re delighted to offer this recently imported 1974 example which appears to have begun life in the United States of America.
Recently arrived in the UK, this BMW looks a lovely example in highly original condition. Now road registered and exempt from MOT and road tax, this BMW is ready to start a new chapter in the UK.

Fitted with US spec impact bumpers - the front item looks to have sagged slightly on the nearside, but otherwise both look in smart order
BBS alloy wheels fitted - a nice period aftermarket accessory

Very smart blue vinyl upholstery
The seats and door cards do not appear notably worn
