The Attractions

When Laverda decided to enter the US market, it was inspired by the models that had been most successful in the USA. Careful examination of the competition's proposals led to the creation of an unmistakable motorbike, more focused on performance than aesthetics. This is not to say that its styling was not pleasant and attractive - it was still an Italian motorbike - but it was conceived above all to offer high level performance.
The 750 quickly proved to be fast and manoeuvrable. The Sport, introduced in 1969, offered a further increase in power and better road holding. Although it was a much-loved model at the time and particularly appreciated for its reliability, it is very rare today to find examples in as good a condition as this one.
It is extremely original but has received a light and careful restoration. Equipped with the FMI Gold Plate, it is both a very rewarding two-wheeler to ride and an excellent addition to any collection.
