The Appeal
Introduced in 1968, the Pontiac GTO's second generation was a remarkable looker. Reviving the company's fascination with streamlining, this was a fast-back, sleek and aggressive bit of American muscle that perfectly punched its card into the zeitgeist's clock. There was a lot to shout about, too - it was packed with a thirsty, brash V8 powerplant and, while nominally intended as a speed machine, also boasted a new Endura bumper - which was heavily marketed enduring all kinds of hammer blows.
This fine example of the GTO comes to us in fine fettle, with a strong history file presenting its life while on British shores in great detail. It's a fierce-looking machine, carrying all of that personality you'd hope for, and has been treated to regular servicing and MOTs over the past couple of owners' tenures.
These cars are vanishingly scarce outside of the USA, and we're sure this fine example will attract plenty of interest.
