The Attractions
The huge success of scooters in the mid-1960s led to the creation of particularly interesting vehicles, including some touring models with more powerful engines. This 1966 Vespa 125 Super was one of the most prestigious of the so-called 'touring' scooters. As its name suggests, it was equipped by Piaggio with a 125 cc engine instead of the more common 50 cc engine adopted by most Vespas.
As the photographs show, this Vespa looks very attractive indeed, having been restored and repainted six years ago. We are told that it has always been garage-kept and maintained with care and regularity, and that it has covered only 10,000 kilometres since restoration.
