Running, driving and all functions working including a three-point linkage and PTO
An excellent candidate to preserve or restore
The Appeal
Ferruccio Lamborghini didn’t make his money selling supercars.
The very reason he was able to start Lamborghini Automobili, with its huge plant and cutting-edge equipment, was that he’d already made a name for himself as a highly successful tractor manufacturer.
This Lamborghini 2R left the factory in 1966 - the same year the Miura came out. Imported to the UK, it’s a remarkably original example offered in delightfully patinated order. The vendor comments that the engine starts “on the button” and the tractor’s power take-off and three-point linkage work exactly as they should.
For those seeking an original, complete running example to preserve or restore, this would be a superb candidate.
The History and Paperwork

The tyres are perished but usable in this application and not excessively worn down
All original and complete, including the instrumentation, lights, wing-mounted tool box and rear number plate holder
The alloy levers and rubber gaiters present well
The Mechanics
39bhp inline-three-cylinder diesel
Six forward and two reverse gears
Rear-wheel-drive only
The exhausts pipe looks to be a recent replacement item in the original style
PTO in good working order
Three-point linkage in working order, raising and lowering smoothly
We’re informed that the engine starts promptly and runs well
The tractor is said to drive well, with all functions working as intended
