1966 Innocenti Lambro 450 Van

Highlights

  • Running and driving 450 with lots of potential
  • Perfect promo vehicle for a pub or mobile coffee bar
  • Easy to drive with huge load capacity
  • Practical load area with multiple doors
  • UK registered with interesting plate

The Appeal

The Lambro 450 catapulted Innocenti into the midst of the competitive market for economical, load-lugging three-wheelers with huge city manoeuvrability.
The firm had built triple-wheeled scooters before. The 450 was the first to chase the comfort and all-round usability of small vans and cars thanks to its fully enclosed cab. Behind the bench seat a range of different bodies could accommodate up to 8,821 lb of load - more than a contemporary Mini van.
Today these versatile vans are beloved for their quirkiness and commercial potential - after all, nothing quite stands out on the road like a Lambro. This one arrived in the UK around 10 years ago and is now fully UK registered on the interesting ‘PUB’ prefix registration plate.
It presents well and is said to run and drive well. Work has already begun to convert it to a coffee bar. The buyer could finish this work, which is said to be 98% complete, or this characterful, practical runabout could be pushed in an entirely different direction. The choice is yours!
