The Attractions
Particularly appreciated for its torque-rich engines and comfortable riding position, the Harley-Davidson FLH Electra-Glide 1200 was for many years the two-wheeler of choice for police forces in the United States. It could be ridden with one hand thanks to the foot clutch, and many were equipped with sidecars to carry an additional passenger.
This 1966 example was also originally used in this way, but was later imported to Italy where it is now registered for road use and ASI-certified. It received a meticulous and respectful restoration in 2008 and has been well preserved ever since. The seller informs us that it runs properly and rides very well, with no problems to report.
