The Appeal

The W113 SL "Pagoda" wasn't the only Paul Bracq-designed Mercedes-Benz cabriolet on offer during the early 1960s. If you wanted a little more space and luxury, there was also a convertible variant of the supremely accomplished W111.

This handsome 1964 example boasts the well-known 2.8-litre engine upgrade, making it more usable in fast-paced modern traffic. It comes with Dutch registration documents and has recently passed its technical inspection - which we're informed lasts indefinitely (as it's not required for cars of this age in the Netherlands).

Well-presented throughout, this handsome and stylish classic convertible awaits its next custodian.
