Highlights
- Rare four-stroke scooter with electric start - the so-called "Cadillac among scooters"
- Offered in very good running and riding order
- Highly original and well-presented
The Appeal
Scooters are typically simple affairs, with tiny two-stroke engines and very little in the way of creature comforts. The Heinkel 103 A-2 Tourist is a notable exception. With a 9.5 horsepower four-stroke powerplant, four-speed gearbox and electric start, it’s no wonder it was referred to at the time as the "Cadillac among scooters".
This 1964 example was first road registered in June 1977 and today indicates 70,718 km. It comes with EU (NL) documents and original paperwork and is currently located in Prague, Czech Republic.
