The Appeal

The Bentley S was the last of a particular type of coachbuilt, separate-chassis post-war luxury car. That it was so good explains its enduring popularity and that many are still in regular use as ULEZ-exempt town cars.
This car is one of the last to have left the line so benefits from the improvements applied to these later cars, such as power steering. Stylishly finished in two-tone Sand and Sable with a smart beige leather interior. The bodywork and paintwork present well while the interior exhibits a light patina, adding a further dash of character - if any were needed - to this majestic 65-year-old car.
The bulging history file attests to the life of a car regularly and well maintained through the decades by specialists. Naturally it is MOT exempt by age, but a recent test in September 2023 provided a pass with flying colours. The car has covered few miles since.
This is a very tidy, much historied example of the desirable later S1.
