The appeal
Italy has the Fiat 500, Britain has the Mini and Germany has the Beetle. In France, the Citroën 2CV is unquestionably the collector's car par excellence. Popular for its robustness and practicality, these cars are now symbols of the French lifestyle and are increasingly sought-after.
None is more sought-after than the early models with their corrugated bonnet. The example shown here is a 1956 model with the same design element.
Presented in fantastic specification with its grey paintwork, black soft top and cream wheels, it is in even better condition. Visually, this car is undoubtedly a marvel that shows very little wear despite its almost 70-year history. A cultural icon in near-perfect condition, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
