Purchased new by the vendor's father on 16 June 1956
Fully restored and engine rebuilt in October 2010
A very popular motorbike in a less common scrambler version
The Appeal
The single-cylinder BSA Gold Star is quite simply a legend in classic motorbike circles, and the surviving examples are coveted by those who remain nostalgic for the golden era of British motorbike manufacture. Favoured for its 'Café Racer' construction and much appreciated for its on-road performance, the Gold Star Scrambler version is particularly rare, and that's precisely what we're lucky enough to find here.
Purchased new by the seller's father on 16 June 1956, this BSA B34 has remained in the family and is still in off-road configuration. Fully restored in 2010, including a complete engine rebuild, this is a fabulous example that will appeal to classic motorbike collectors the world over.
